EASYSOS — BY AGING TRANSITION ADVISORS

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

EasySOS is built for seniors and their families. We collect only what’s needed to keep you safe. We never sell your data — not now, not ever.

What we collect

  • Your name — used in alert messages sent to your emergency contacts when SOS is triggered
  • Emergency contact names and phone numbers — the specific people you choose to be notified in an emergency. Stored on your device and securely backed up so you don’t lose them if you reinstall the app.
  • Your location — captured at the moment you trigger an SOS alert, and shared with your chosen emergency contacts via text message so they know where you are. We do not track your location at any other time.
  • App settings — your check-in preferences and reminder times, stored locally on your device and backed up securely
  • A device identifier (IDFV) — a unique ID assigned by Apple that lets us back up your data without requiring you to create an account or log in. This resets if you delete and reinstall the app.
  • Anonymous usage events — records of when SOS is triggered and when check-ins occur, used only to improve the app. These are not linked to your personal identity.

What we do NOT collect

  • We do not collect your email address
  • We do not require you to create an account or log in
  • We do not track your location in the background
  • We do not collect health, medical, or insurance information
  • We do not collect payment information of any kind
  • We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics
  • We do not show ads

How we use your information

Information collected by EasySOS is used solely to:

  • Send SOS alerts and your location to your chosen emergency contacts when you trigger the button
  • Send daily check-in reminders to you, and gentle notifications to your contacts if you miss a check-in
  • Back up your contacts and settings so you can restore them if needed
  • Understand how the app is being used so we can improve it
